Grand Jury
Participation as a jurist on one of our Grand Juries DOES NOT REQUIRE that you become a member of the Ohio State Jural Assembly by swearing the OSJA Jural Covenant Oath, we do believe it is extremely helpful.
Those volunteering to fearlessly and thoroughly evaluate evidence and come to agreement on a recommendation for equitable remedy in eliminating controversy and restoring to honor mankind are expected to possess the following skills and abilities:
1) be willing and able to periodically attend live video Zoom meetings with other jurists;
2) have the ability to fearlessly investigate evidence presented;
3) be willing and able to come to collective agreement with the other jurists empaneled together with you on what constitutes an equitable remedy that peacefully eliminates controversy and restores honor to mankind.
Being seated on any variation of jury DOES require you to engage in a brief interview with the Grand Jury Commissioner where it can be determined that you qualify as a peer to that man/woman who has brought claim to be evaluated; should you be eligible, you are expected to be sworn in utilizing a brief oath to uphold the principles of a common law jurist (e.g., being unbiased, having no affiliation with either side of the claim, promise to maintain confidentiality, etc.)
Although OSJA initially began its settlement process in 2012, eventually settling Fulton County in 2013, and ramping up activity just before Donald Trump took office the first time (2016), (all under Destry Payne’s (National Assembly Michigan model,) A lack of level-headed administration, combined with egos, led to in-fighting amongst our leadership (and the leadership in Michigan and other nation=states), causing catastrophic failure of foundational direction. Our membership went sine dye until late 2019;
It took until the 3rd quarter of 2024 to educate ourselves sufficiently to grow membership and establish our Grand Jury Commission, which meets weekly to review evidence, verify claims and hear testimony.
On this page, the GJC shares our documents and processes, with hopes that our experience will aid others. Should you have constructive criticisms or advice, we would love to hear from you. Please click the “Contact Us” button at the top right and share your thoughts!
